Think Pura Vida!

My story starts in Costa Rica of all places, where after a year of hating the job I’d taken to escape the previous job I hated, I booked a lone trip to forget it all and completely unexpectedly met my now fiancée and my story became our story.

 

‘Pura Vida’ or ‘pure/simple life’ is not just a saying, but a way of life in Costa Rica. Like many people, I was taken in by the Costa Rican culture of trying to embrace life with all it’s twists and turns and their intent to just be happy. Luckily for me, it was this during my trip there and this state of open mind that I met my future wife.

Now we try and 'work hard travel hard' by squeezing in every last trip we can in-between work. We've started to write travel guides to share our adventures and hopefully provide some useful tips along the way.
